The move into university life can be challenging. How do you get enrolled after being admitted? How do you remember all the new information given to you? Are you doing the right things at the right time? Have you missed something?

When you're getting started be sure to check out all the information in your QUT offer letter.

What if you are moving to Brisbane for the first time? We have some advice for making Brisbane your home.

If you are a from a secondary school you will also notice some huge changes to the expectations placed on you. Luckily we can forewarn you about those.

If things still don't go to plan, don't panic. There is assistance available to help you with some of the common issues first year students face when starting at QUT.

You can even find out from other QUT students out what uni life is like. Our students are able to answer questions about general aspects of undergraduate student life. Email a student with your questions.

QUT has that relaxed and supportive environment that really appeals to me. Coming into a place where you feel welcome makes the transition from high school to university easy. The best thing about QUT is that during your breaks you can just relax at the cafe or in the gardens and socialise with your friends.
