New ID cards requiredAll staff and continuing students need to replace their ID card by 31 October 2008 as part of a comprehensive upgrade to the swipe card readers in QUT’s physical security system. More information on collecting the new ID card Why your ID card is importantStaff, students and official visitors are required to carry their QUT issued identity cards at all times so that they can easily establish their identity. The QUT ID card is also an access card, giving authorised personnel swipe access to secure areas within the University. QUT staff and students will be able to travel free on the intercampus shuttle bus route 391 when they show the driver their QUT identity card. The University bus service operates for students and staff travelling between the Kelvin Grove and Gardens Point campuses. The service is provided through a Brisbane Transport (BCC) bus travelling Route 391. New copy & print systemThe new printing system allows students to use their student ID card as a link to their Copy/Print accounts. For more information go to the QUT Printing Services web site.
