Teaching periods have been created for some units to better reflect the length of the unit. These teaching periods will better support your study at QUT by assisting the governing business processes. Teaching period dates for units will be displayed in QUT Virtual to enable accurate selection of units through the Online Enrolment process.
While most students will continue to enrol in semester 1 and 2 teaching periods, certain students, such as those undertaking BGSB 6 credit point units and students undertaking QUTIC courses, will need to be aware of the correct teaching period they need to enrol in.
Each of the teaching periods below are governed by specific dates relating to the addition and withdrawal of units and associated academic and financial penalty. For full details, refer to the final date for changes to enrolment .
