What is it?
When you graduate from your course, you will be given a parchment. This is a document that confirms your completion of the course and conferral of your degree. It is different from an Academic Record because it does not list individual units.
When do I receive it?
You will receive your parchment at your graduation ceremony if you attend. If you do not attend, your parchment will be mailed to you after the date of your ceremony.
Note: your parchment will not be issued before your graduation ceremony because degrees are conferred by cohort (not individually) by the Registrar for the University Academic Board, and your parchment will not be valid until its conferral date.
Replacement parchment – there is a form to fill out and a cost to incur
Substitute parchment – can be issued when the original parchment needs alteration
