Graduands must register, even if they do not wish to attend their ceremony, to avoid significant delays with receiving their graduation parchment.
Please refer to our graduation timetable for more information on when you will be eligible to complete online registration.
Steps to register
- Go to the QUT Home Page (www.qut.edu.au).
- Login to QUT Virtual using your QUT Access username and password.
- Select ‘View ceremonies menu' under the ‘Student Services Tab' (see screen shot below) and follow the registration instructions.
Graduation Online Registration will enable you to:
- Check that your name is printed correctly on your graduation parchment.
- View your award title(s) and your honours/distinction level(s) if any.
- View your graduation ceremony date and time.
- Register to attend, receive your parchment by post, or defer to a later graduation ceremony.
- Advise how your name should be pronounced during your ceremony.
Below is a screen shot of the area (circled in red) in QUT Virtual where students go to register for their graduation ceremony.
