Summer Program enrolment will be recorded into one of three separate teaching periods:
You must select one of the above teaching periods when enrolling in Summer Program units. Continuing QUT StudentsSummer Program units are available to all domestic and international students who are currently enrolled or on Leave of Absence. Units offered in SUM-2 will only become available for selection from mid-October each year. Students should enrol in summer units via the Online Enrolment portlet, which can be found under the Student Services tab on QUT Virtual . Note: QUT Commonwealth supported students cannot defer tuition fees to HECS-HELP. You must pay these fees up front to QUT. Eligible students may apply for a Commonwealth loan via FEE-HELP. You must complete a paper Request for FEE-HELP. Details are available from the FEE-HELP webpage. Commencing a course during Summer ProgramA number of postgraduate coursework courses can be commenced in the Summer Program teaching period. For course information please refer to Studyfinder. International students applying for admission to a specified course in the Summer Program teaching period should apply on F Form. Please refer to the International Course List which lists the available courses for Summer Program. International students on student visas must enrol in a full-time study program. Studying individual units during Summer ProgramVisiting and cross-institutional students, including international students, who are undertaking units in the Summer Program nominate their units on a V Form. Confirming Summer Program enrolmentYou should check your Current Unit Enrolment portlet in QUT Virtual to ensure your enrolment in Summer Program units is correct. It is your responsibility to ensure that your enrolment is correct at all times. Failure to correct an inaccurate record may have serious academic, administrative and financial consequences. Please note that the dates for withdrawal are the final dates a withdrawal can be made before incurring an academic penalty. Financial penalties may also apply BEFORE these dates. Correct selection of units for enrolment is your responsibility and should be in accordance with your Course Summary Sheet.
