All changes - additions, substitutions and withdrawals- must be done via the This portlet can be used by:
Note: The majority of units offered in the Summer Program are tuition fee paying. Go to more details about types of units and offerings. Addition and substitution of unitsUse the key dates search facility to find enrolment due dates. Adding/substituting units after these datesAfter these dates units cannot be added online. In such cases a paper 'Change to Enrolment Form (Restricted)' - CR Form must be used and faculty approval obtained for the late addition. CR Forms are available from Student Centres on all campuses. Further details on Adding/substituting units are available. Withdrawal of unitsUse the key dates search facility to find the final dates for withdrawal before incurring an academic or financial penalty . These dates apply regardless of the actual class start and end dates. Withdrawal after these periodsA result of 'Withdrawn - Failure' is awarded. The examiner may award a passing grade on the basis of the assessment undertaken by the student prior to cancellation. The Registrar, on advice from the faculty, may waive the 'fail' result arising from late withdrawal when satisfied that the withdrawal was necessitated by special circumstances (medical, compassionate or other circumstances). Documentary evidence, such as medical certificates or statements from employers, must be submitted in support of requests. Withdrawal of a unit due to passing it in a previous semesterYou are encouraged to enrol in appropriate Summer Program units before receiving your Semester 2 grades if you believe you may fail your Semester 2 attempt. In cases where you pass the unit and no longer need to repeat the unit in Summer Program, you should withdraw from the summer enrolment immediately upon receiving the passing grade in Semester 2. In certain cases you may only receive the finalised passing grade after (or close to) academic and/or financial penalties have been incurred. Note: Withdrawing from your unit using the online enrolment facility is possible, however the student will incur a financial or academic penalty, so this facility should be avoided in this instance only. Relaxation of academic/financial penaltiesIf you believe you have a case for relaxation of academic or financial penalties you should submit a written application to Student Business Services. Applications should list the unit to be withdrawn and details of when you received advice on the grade. |
