Things you should know about your Statement of Account
- Statements are always published in QUT Virtual. Statements are NEVER sent to you in the mail. It is your responsibility to check your statement through QUT Virtual. You will be notified via your QUT student email account when a Statement of Account is issued.
- Once a Statement of Account is issued, it will never disappear – even if you have paid the money owing on a statement. This allows you to refer back to your accounts should you need to.
- Always check the date your statement was produced. Your statement is like a snapshot of what you are enrolled in ON THAT DATE. If you change your enrolment after that date and these changes affect your total outstanding balance amount, you will be issued another Statement of Account.
- Pay your account by the due date or you will face penalties including late fees, sanctions and possible cancellation of your enrolment after the census date.
- Corporate programs - generally students enrolled in corporate programs will not receive a Statement of Account when the study is 100% sponsored. Your employer will receive a statement from QUT in this instance.
- Partially sponsored students -
Statements of Account will be issued to employers and students for their respective portions of fees.
