  1. Determine which fees category applies to you.
  2. Take note of the census dates that apply to you.
    • If withdrawing from unit(s) be sure to do so by the appropriate date - do not confuse academic penalty with financial penalty.
    • Check the late cancellation charges for unit withdrawals.
    • If you are a Commonwealth supported student, do you have a current request for Commonwealth assistance form for each course you are undertaking?
    • If you receive Commonwealth assistance and are making a full or part up-front payment, be sure to have done so by the date listed on your Statement of Account (issued electronically via QUT Virtual).
  3. If you are eligible for Commonwealth assistance and have not received an electronic Statement of Account via QUT Virtual by the end of week one in the teaching period, contact the Student Business Services to obtain one.
  4. Ensure you have completed all necessary documentation by the due dates.
