Institutions must provide a notice to all Commonwealth supported students undertaking a course of study.
You will be provided with a notice setting out for each course of study for which you are enrolled:
- details of the course
- whether Commonwealth assistance is available to you for your course
- your load for the teaching period as a proportion of the equivalent full-time load for the full year of the course of study; and
- if you are Commonwealth supported for that teaching period, the notice should also include:
- the student contribution payable for the teaching period
- any amount you have already paid for the teaching period
- your right to request correction of information contained in the notice
CANs are available in QUT Virtual at the Student Services tab under the 'Request for Commonwealth support' portlet.
You have 14 working days from the date of the notice to advise Student Business Services of any error in the notice.
