QUT reviews academic performance at the end of each calendar year through the probational enrolment (MOPP E/6.7.3) and exclusion procedures (MOPP E/6.7.5).

In addition to the unsatisfactory academic performance indicators listed in MOPP/6.7.1, international students will be monitored for course progress in a six monthly cycle and identified to be ‘at risk' of not making satisfactory course progress when:

  • a minimum grade of 4 in each unit in each teaching period has not been achieved;
  • an enrolment program which allows them to complete within their eCoE timeframe has not been maintained; or
  • an enrolment program in which at least one unit is not online or distance learning in each semester and no more than 25% of the total course is by online or distance learning.
