A student is placed on probationary enrolment if they:

  • achieve a grade point average (GPA) of less than 3.0
  • are awarded a failing grade in a unit which they have previously failed

Students are advised in writing that they have been placed on probationary enrolment.

Students are placed on probationary enrolment for a period of one year. During that time students must consult their course coordinator about their enrolment program and, if the course coordinator specifies an enrolment program, enrol as directed for that year.

If a student cancels their enrolment while on probationary enrolment, they will be returned to probationary enrolment for the year of readmission and required to enrol as the course coordinator directs.
