[Print-friendly version]

Students are expected to progress with minimum interruption towards completion of their course. Time limits are measured in calendar years from the first day of the first teaching period in which the student was enrolled and do not include periods of exclusion, approved leave of absence or other approved periods of interruption.

At the end of the academic year, students who have exceeded the time limits will be eligible for exclusion. A faculty academic board may exclude a student, place them on probationary enrolment, or apply no penalty.

Students excluded because of failure to complete a course within time limits have the right of appeal.
