A student becomes eligible for exclusion if:
- The student qualifies for a period of probationary enrolment, and has already had one period of probation.
- The student is awarded a failing grade in a designated unit
- The student, after being re-admitted after exclusion, achieves a grade point average of less than 3.5 in academic year of readmission.
- The student has exceeded the maximum time limits for the award course.
The Faculty Academic Board responsible for the course the student is enrolled in determines whether an eligible student should be excluded.
Any student who has been excluded has a right of appeal.
