Students with religious obligations |
|

If you have religious obligations, which preclude attendance at examinations in accordance with the official timetable, you have the right to alternative examination arrangements in accordance with QUT policy, see below. Written requests for alternative examination sittings must be submitted to the Examinations Coordinator within 14 days of the release of the final timetable and must include supporting documentation from your religious leader on organisational letterhead. The Examinations Coordinator will make arrangements for you to attempt your exam on the first available exam session after the scheduled date of the exam. You are normally advised of the altered arrangements in writing, and immediately prior to the exam, are asked to sign a statutory declaration stating that you have not been in contact with anyone who may have divulged the contents of the exam to you. These arrangements apply to centrally organised examinations only. You should contact your faculty/school for altered arrangements regarding mid-semester and school based examinations.
