[Print-friendly version]

During the course of a teaching period students should discuss their progress in all coursework exercises (including examinations which form part of progressive assessment) with relevant teaching staff, and can expect to be provided with a clear indication of the extent to which they have or have not achieved the objectives set for each assessment item.

For students who are dissatisfied with the final grade received for a unit, a three-step review process must be followed, see policy below.

If after reading through the process and you have already sought clarification (step 1) you may wish to request a formal review of grade (step 2). An Application for Review of Grade form should be submitted within ten (10) working days of the release of result. The submission should contain appropriate information and documentation and a statement of the specific grounds on which the application for review is based.
