According to University policy (see below), a student who has received a penalty imposed by the dean of faculty or the Registrar may appeal to the Appeals Committee of University Academic Board.
Procedure to lodge an appeal:
Against penalty for academic dishonesty
All appeals must be submitted on an Appeal Against Penalty for Academic Dishonesty form (AD Form) available from Student Centres and must include the grounds and reasons for the appeal. Appeals must reach the Examinations Coordinator within ten (10) working days of the date of the letter advising you of the findings and penalty imposed for academic dishonesty.
Students should use the AD Form to appeal against their penalty.
Against exclusion for academic dishonesty
Appeals are made in writing to the Secretary of the Appeals Committee.
