Making a decision |
|
School-leaversAs students move into their senior years of school, there is an increasing focus on what they will do at the end of Year 12. For some students who have known for years what they would like to be 'when they grow up', this is an easy decision. For many students however, this is a difficult time as they sort through the range of options available to them including full-time or part-time study at university, TAFE or a private college; short courses, travel; full-time or part-time work; apprenticeships or traineeships. Even if you know that you would like to go on to university, you may find it hard choosing a career path you would like to follow or which course would get you on the right track. Non School-leaversIf you have already left school but are not ready to make a commitment to full-time study, you might like to consider studying one or two QUT subjects as a visiting student in your area of interest, or undertaking a short course. real experiences
I chose QUT in all six of my QTAC preferences. It was my first and only choice because it catered to my specific needs, and because of its renowned record of graduate placement. I certainly have not been disappointed. Everything I am doing is directly related to my future career as a dietician. I know when I graduate, a QUT degree will ensure I am fully prepared for a successful career. Casey Evans
