Courses
Faculty of Business degree has 4 electives and all students will be eligible for those.
Credit arrangements
- Students currently undertaking language studies who come to BS56 can use this to do a language specialisation which already exists in the degree. Our specialisation consists of either 4 or 6 language units, so we should be able to accommodate most students who want to come across.
- Depending upon how far through the degree the students are, we may be able to make use of what we call an Interfaculty Specialisation. If students are a significant way through a particular study area in Arts or Social Sciences then we may be able to do this for them. At the moment all students who apply for an IFS are assessed on a case by case basis, and this would be the same for the students transferring.
- Our core units are mostly fairly business oriented (accounting, finance, economics, management etc) so that we would be unlikely to be able to give credit for these units, although again we can assess on a case by case basis depending upon other advanced standing the HHS students might have. The two core units which might be granted would be BSB114 Government Business and Society and BSB119 International and Electronic Business. It depends on the set of studies done in the HHS programs, but they are much more likely.
- Any other credit applications would be done on a case by case basis as per normal.
