ED38 Graduate Diploma in Education (Senior Years) applications have now closed

The online TANF is part of the ED38 Graduate Diploma in Education (Senior Years) admission application. Submit the admission application at QTAC and use the online TANF to nominate your teaching area(s).

Due date and lodgment

International students

Do not apply to QTAC and do not complete the online TANF. Your admission application and teaching area nomination are submitted on an Application for Admission to QUT as an International Student (with TANF) (PDF).

Domestic students

You are strongly encouraged to apply to QTAC and submit your TANF as early as possible. Applications, new preferences and/or TANFs received after the final date will not be accepted.

Semester 2 2008

  • 24 April 2008: Mid-year QTAC applications and mid-year TANF open.
  • 26 May 2008: Due date to lodge QTAC applications/add preferences and lodge the online TANF for the early June offer round
  • 5 June 2008: Early June offers released
  • 10 June 2008: Due date to lodge QTAC applications/change preferences and lodge the online TANF for the late June offer round
  • 19 June 2008: Late June offers released
  • 7 July 2008: Final date to lodge QTAC applications/change preferences and lodge the online TANF for the continuing offer round

Teaching areas information

Teaching areas and their entry requirements are listed at Courses by faculty.

Students will undertake one teaching area based on the discipline studies undertaken in their undergraduate degree.

You must have successfully completed the equivalent of one year of full-time study at bachelor's level (or higher) in your nominated teaching area as part of, or in addition to, the completed undergraduate course required for entry into the course.

Please note that the requirements for some areas are quite specific and some teaching areas are not available for mid-year entry. Some teaching areas also have quota restrictions and may require an interview for admission purposes.

Release of mid-year offers

  • QTAC early June offer round - 5 June 2008
  • QTAC late June offer round - 19 June 2008
  • QTAC continuing offer round - progressively until 11 July 2008

Blue Card

If you are accepted into this course you will need a blue card which allows you to work with children and young people under 18 years of age. You are strongly encouraged to apply for a blue card as soon as possible.
