If you are changing course, you can apply for advanced standing (academic credit) based on your prior QUT studies. If you intend to apply, please provide details of previous QUT units studied and the units you expect exemptions for in your new course.

Providing this information means you will receive timely notification of your Advanced Standing outcomes, to help you make correct unit choices when you enrol.

5. Advanced standing for prior studies at another institution

If you wish to receive advanced standing for studies completed at another institution, please complete an Application for Advanced Standing (AS form - opens in a new window). Lodge your application by the closing date (see key dates search), and prior to the first day of the teaching period, at a Student Centre or post it to the address on the form. Late applications lodged on or after the first day of the teaching period incur a non-refundable $50.00 late application fee.
