QUT has a huge choice of courses available and finding the right one for you can sometimes be a challenge. There are a number of great tools you can use to help make your selection easier.
- Studyfinder is QUT's course database with some great search functions built in. Use 'Match my skills' to help you decide what course to do. From your answers to certain questions Studyfinder will suggest the courses that match your combination of talents as closely as possible.
- QUT Handbook is QUT's official and authoritative course and institution publication. Produced once a year the QUT Handbook presents a snapshot of course offerings at the commencement of the year. As the Handbook is not updated throughout that year you should access current course information through Studyfinder or Courses by Faculty.
- Courses by Faculty – if you know the course and faculty you are looking for you can use this to find information about your specific course. This database offers a comprehensive list of current and proposed QUT courses, under faculty and school names, which you can use to plan your study programs.
- Course updates – this page contains a summary of course changes, publication corrections, new and discontinued courses since the initial printing of the QUT undergraduate faculty books, postgraduate faculty books and the QTAC Guide.
- Nested postgraduate courses – you can articulate between levels of study in some courses at QUT. For example after studying a Graduate Certificate you can move to a Graduate Diploma without applying for admission.
- Continuing Professional Education – QUT's CPE Unit provides flexible access to QUT academic teaching resources for professional associations, corporations, government and the general community. Through the CPE Unit these groups can negotiate course content and delivery modes to satisfy their particular education or training needs.
real experiences

I found all the information I needed to choose the course I am studying by using QUT's Studyfinder search engine. It told me what I needed to know about my course and the special entry requirements, including a portfolio and when it needed to be submitted to QUT.
