How to apply

International students

Use an Application for Admission to QUT as an International Student (with TANF) (PDF, 120k).

Domestic students

Entry to QUT Graduate Diploma in Education, as well as all undergraduate and graduate degree courses, is via QTAC.

All applicants can apply to QTAC online or use the QTAC Tertiary Study Application form, contained within the QTAC Guide, available from most Queensland newsagencies.

Mid-year applications can only be made via the QTAC online application service.

Application dates are listed below. Applications and/or new preferences received after the fixed closing date cannot be accepted. Please note: you are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible.

Additional form - Middle Years & Senior Years

Middle years and Senior years applicants must also lodge the online Teaching Area Nomination Form (TANF) to QUT Admissions.

Dates

You are strongly encouraged to apply to QTAC and submit your TANF as early as possible. Applications, new preferences and/or TANFs received after the final date will not be accepted.

Semester 2, 2009

  • 29 April 2009: Final date to lodge QTAC applications/add preferences and lodge the online TANF in order to be considered for the May offer round
  • 13 May 2009: May offers released
  • 20 May 2009: Final date to lodge QTAC applications/add preferences and lodge the online TANF. Applications, new preferences and/or TANFs received after this date will not be accepted
  • 3 June 2009: June offers released

Please note that 3 June 2009 is the major offer round. Limited offers will be made in May.    

Blue Card

If you are accepted into this course you will need a blue card which allows you to work with children and young people under 18 years of age. You are strongly encouraged to apply for a blue card as soon as possible.
