Why QUT?

[Print-friendly version]

To determine if you need to provide documentation with your application please refer to:

  • course entry requirements for the course you are applying for in Studyfinder
  • the Applying for Entry & Completing the PG Form guide attached to the PG Form.

All documents provided with your application form must be originals or copies certified by a Justice of the Peace, Commissioner of Declarations (registration numbers must be provided), or by QUT Student Centre staff.

If documents are in a language other than English the original document must also have an official English translation.

Documents will not be returned to you unless you provide a stamped, self-addressed envelope with your application.

Academic transcripts

  • Academic transcripts from studies undertaken at QUT or other Queensland universities do not need to be supplied. By signing the declaration on the application form you authorise QUT to electronically verify your tertiary qualifications via QualSearch.
  • QUT cannot electronically verify your qualifications from another institution via QualSearch if you have an outstanding sanction or if you have been excluded from that institution.

Additional documentation

You may be required to supply additional documentation to meet course entry requirements.

For example:

  • evidence of change of name (marriage certificate, deed poll)
  • employment experience, statements of service on company letterhead signed and dated by company authorities
  • English language proficiency test results
  • evidence of a permanent resident visa or a permanent humanitarian visa.
