If you submit after the ON-TIME closing date

Applications received after the on-time closing date may be considered if you:

  • provide full documentation to support your application (where requested)
    and
  • pay the non-refundable late application fee (see below) of $50.

Late applications will be accepted until the late application closing date for the semester intake.

If you submit after the LATE closing date

Very late applications will only be considered if you:

  • meet special circumstances criteria. You must provide a written case outlining your special circumstances with supporting documentary evidence to substantiate your case. Go to examples of special circumstances.
  • provide full documentation (certified copy of academic transcript etc) to support your application (where requested)
  • pay the non-refundable late application fee (see below) of $50.

All required documentation specific to the course you are applying for is specified in Studyfinder.

QUT will not consider applications received after the late application closing date from applicants who are:

  • applying for courses in the external study mode
  • currently sanctioned by QUT.

No further applications will be considered for the semester in-take beyond the second week of the teaching period.

Note

  • If you are also applying for advanced standing for previous study submit your credit application (AS form) together with your course application. By submitting the forms together you will only incur one late fee. Applicants submitting AS forms separately from the first day of the teaching period will incur a $50 late application fee.

  • Applicants submitting late applications should be aware of key enrolment and fee penalty dates prior to applying. Knowledge of key administrative dates will assist you in making timely decisions on unit enrolment and withdrawal. These dates are available from the key dates display.

Late application fee

If you submit your application after the on-time closing date, before completing the application form please pay the $50 late application fee via ePay (choose 'Student Business Services' from the left-hand menu).

After you pay your late fee, insert your late fee receipt number in the dedicated box on the PG Form.

Once receipt of payment is verified your application will be processed.

The late fee is non-refundable.
