  • Ensure you tick the appropriate teaching period indicator at the top of the AS form to indicate the teaching period in which advanced standing granted will affect your enrolment program (study plan) i.e. if you are granted advanced standing you will be exempt from studying units in the indicated teaching period.

Application forms

The Application for Advanced Standing (AS form) is available in PDF.

Late applications

  • Cannot be guaranteed an outcome before the commencement of the next teaching period or prior to final dates for altering enrolment (dates below), or financial penalties applicable to the teaching period.
  • Late applications for advanced standing submitted after the on-time closing date (above) up until the census date in any teaching period cannot be guaranteed an outcome before:
    • the final dates for altering enrolment (see dates below)
      or
    • financial penalties are applied for the teaching period (see below).
  • advanced standing applications received after the census date of the current teaching period will be processed but cannot be effective towards enrolment programs for that teaching period.

Final dates for altering your enrolment

If you are granted advanced standing and need to change your enrolment accordingly you should note the absolute final dates for altering your enrolment (use the key dates search).
